All office visits are payable at the times of service. We accept cash, and most major credit cards and debit cards. Additionally, you will receive an itemization of charges each time you are seen in our office.

If you are unable to pay your account in full when you receive your statement for global care, City OB+GYN PC offers various payment options. Please speak with an account representative regarding these options.

City OB+GYN PC offers global (whole) pregnancy care packages.

Our office does not participate with insurance plans. This is because Dr. Patel strives to build strong relationships with her patients, and to address patient questions and concerns to a high degree of satisfaction. Unfortunately, many of these plans do not value the time and dedication it takes to provide quality care, as reflected by yearly declining CMS reimbursements.

Additionally, City OB+GYN PC is an out-of-network provider with most PPO plans. Because of this, you can expect your insurance company to reimburse you for a portion of our fee. This portion is determined by the contract between you and the insurance company.

While we are not a party to the contractual arrangement with your insurance company, we want to help you receive the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled. As a convenience to you, the office will help you process your insurance claims in order for you to receive this maximum benefit. Also, we will gladly provide medical records should your insurance company have any questions about the services provided.

For need-based care, Dr. Patel provides care in a community hospital setting at various times throughout the year. Contact the office to inquire about an in-hospital schedule.

City OB+GYN PC is dedicated to educating our patients on fees and responding to questions from you or your insurance companies. We understand that medical billing is complex and we encourage our patients to contact us with any questions regarding your statement or account.

City OB+GYN PC is also committed to submitting accurate billing information to your insurance company. If you believe a mistake has been made, please contact us immediately. We do understand that many patients have various coverage policies and be assured that we are obligated to submit the diagnosis that applies to the exam.

Even though patients have insurance and benefits may be payable, the insurance contract is between the patient and the insurance company; the prompt payment of our fees, therefore, remains the personal responsibility of the patient.
